If you have your memory card set to “GCI Folder” in Dolphin, the “GC” folder will contain a folder called “USA” This folder contains all of your Gamecube saves for the USA region in the individual save “GCI” format. It stores the game progress so the gameplay can be resumed at a later time.
A GCI file is a saved game created by a GameCube emulator.
